Why Amanda, Why Now?
Brookline is really good at making plans. But we fall short when it comes time to execute those ideas. We need town-wide leaders who don’t just talk about ideas but actually make progress. Because time matters and can be the difference between whether Brookline can stay affordable and thriving, or not.
It’s time to move past making plans and take steps toward solving the most important issues we face: climate change, safe streets, revenue, and housing. As a Select Board member, I will use my role to champion these issues and guide our town staff to put our hard work as volunteers in Town Meeting and on boards and commissions into practice.
